Description

As commercial drones become increasingly prevalent, the need for effective counter-UAS technologies has become paramount. To ensure the safe and effective deployment of these technologies, consideration of operating and system requirements, appropriate sites and environments for application, and community impacts is crucial.

In this session, panelists will explore the benefits of counter-UAS technologies, including how they can protect critical infrastructure and sensitive areas, enhance public safety, and ensure privacy. They will also examine the need for standards and regulations to ensure safe and effective deployment and the potential impact of these technologies on local communities and will touch on the forthcoming FAA counter-UAS Aviation Rulemaking Committee, which launches its work just after XPO.

Speakers will provide insights into the technical complexities of counter-UAS technologies and their relationship with commercial drones. It will be of interest to security professionals, regulators, drone operators, and anyone interested in the intersection of technology and security. Join us as we navigate the skies and address the intricacies of these rapidly evolving technologies.
